In-School Banking Program

As a local community-based, not-for-profit financial institution, we strive to provide the best financial services to all who live, work, worship, or attend school in Hampden County. Our In-School Banking Program is a way we can encourage financial literacy among students in our local schools. Credit Union Representatives visit participating schools weekly throughout the school year for routine deposit account activities.

Participating Schools:

  • East Street Elementary
  • Green Meadows Elementary School
  • Harris Brook Elementary School
  • Paul R. Baird Middle School
  • St. John the Baptist

Why Should I Join?

Students participating in the program will receive a free gift along with a $5.00 opening deposit from the Credit Union, “Savings Is Fun”or “L-U-S-O” account register, and deposit envelopes. Each visit, the Credit Union Representative will update the student’s register which eliminates the need for paper receipts. Any deposit amount is acceptable! No deposit will ever be considered too small or too large. At the end of every month the student will receive a statement at his or her home address showing account activity. Access our 10 Steps for School Banking to learn more.

How Do I Join?

It’s easy! To open your student’s account simply complete an application and have your student bring it to the Credit Union or to a Credit Union Representative on any school banking day!

What If My School Doesn't Participate?
