Save time and streamline the chore of depositing checks. Use your smartphone or tablet to deposit checks directly to your LUSO account through our mobile banking app.

Effective July 1, 2018, Reg CC will now REQUIRE that all checks deposited through RDC (Remote Deposit Capture) have a restrictive endorsement on them. All checks deposited through RDC must be endorsed with “For Remote Deposit Only.”  If checks are not properly endorsed they will be rejected.

  • Take check pictures in a well-lit area for best imaging - a flat surface is best
  • Keep hands and fingers away from the camera lens
  • Make sure the check amount you enter matches the amount on the check
  • Keep checks from getting creased or torn - deposit errors can result when checks are unreadable
  • Include Restrictive Endorsement ("For Remote Deposit Only); improperly endorsed checks will be rejected 
  • Save the check until you confirm the deposit by checking your mobile account balance. We recommend keeping the check for 30 days just in case
  1. Launch the LUSO mobile app, log into your account, and tap on the menu button in the upper right corner of the app
  2. Tap on "Deposit a Check"
  3. Tap "— Select an Account —"
  4. Tap on the account you want to deposit your check into
  5. Tap on the "Check Amount" field and type in the amount of your check
  6. Tap “Click Here to Take Picture”
  7. Align the check to fit in the green guidelines and tap the screen to capture the image (if it’s too dark or blurry you can re-take the picture by tapping the image)
  8. Tap “Click Here to Take Picture” to take a picture of the back of your check
  9. Align the check to fit in the green guidelines and tap the screen to capture the image (if it’s too dark or blurry you can re-take the picture by tapping the image)
  10. Once you have both images successfully captured tap “Make Deposit”
  11. You will receive the message “Your check has been deposited” along with a transaction ID and instructions on what to do with your deposited check
    Note: Funds will typically post to your account within 2 days of receipt and may be held for up to two business days (Note: checks over $3,000 are held for 7 business days). Please retain your deposited check for 30 days and then securely destroy it.
  12. You can now tap “Deposit Another Check” if you have additional checks, or you can click the Arrow in the upper left corner to go back to Mobile Banking If you have any questions regarding Remote Deposit Capture, please call our Member Services Department by dialing 844-587-6328 and pressing option 3.
